How to calculate the cost of custom corporate uniforms
Understand what determines the price of a custom uniform order, from garment quantity and logo dimensions to decoration, tax, delivery and coupons.
Start with the quantity rate
Select a garment and specify the quantity you need, starting from 2 pieces per product and colour. The approved quote should identify the garment rate separately from embroidery, printing, any setup charges, GST and delivery.
Multiply the confirmed per-piece rate by your quantity. Small orders may have a different unit price from larger runs. Use the current written quote rather than a price from an old screenshot.
Add embroidery for each selected position
Specify the logo dimensions and every position: left chest, right chest, back and, on eligible polos and T-shirts, the sleeves. Add ₹50 for each chest or eligible sleeve logo and ₹100 for the back, per garment.
For repeated decoration on identical garments, multiply the approved per-garment decoration charge by the quantity and add any confirmed one-time charge. Do not assume the same rate applies to a small emblem and a larger back design.
Include your chosen logo finishes
Chest and back DTF logos use the same listed position charges as embroidery: ₹50 per chest logo and ₹100 for the back. The product subtotal includes every selected logo. Sweaters and sleeve positions support embroidery only.
For example, two formal shirts at ₹900 each with one ₹50 chest logo on each cost ₹1,900 before GST and delivery. Review artwork size and placement before production.
Review coupons, GST and delivery
A coupon may depend on a minimum order value, expiry date or maximum discount. Check eligibility after the garment and decoration prices are confirmed. The approved quote should identify any accepted discount.
The final amount also depends on the GST and delivery charges confirmed for your order. Ask for the approved total and delivery details before making payment.
Use the estimate to compare complete options
Compare like-for-like options: the same garment quantity, size mix, logo positions and finish. A lower garment rate alone may not give the lowest total if the branding requirements differ.
